The Baili Landscape Gallery is located in Qianjiadian Town in the northeast part of Yanqing District, Beijing. Covering an area of 371 square kilometers, it consists of 12 scenic destinations along a 56 kilometer stretch of the Black and White Rivers. A brilliant pearl in the northwest of Beijing, the scenic area is the country’s first national 4A-level tourist attraction that covers the whole of a town.
The scenic area has a sound ecology and an abundance of tourist resources. The picturesque White River Valley and the magnificent Black River Canyon nurture the wonderful petrified woods, the precious fossils of dinosaur footprints, the beautiful waterfalls, the mysterious Black Dragon Canyon, the stately Zhaoyang Temple, the ancient Guandi Temple, and the luxuriant Datan primitive secondary forest.
